Pevely, MO (September 3, 2005) Tim Ratajczyk of Columbia, IL cruised to victory in the closing laps of the UMP Late Model main event as he crossed the finish line a full straight away ahead of the second place finisher. Ed Dixon assumed the lead on the opening lap from his front row pole starting position and fought off the challenges of Denny Woodworth and Jeff Johns for the first ten laps. Ratajczyk found the fast line right around the bottom of the track and moved in to challenge Dixon on lap ten. Dixon moved to the very top but would get into the wall in turn three which appeared to cause enough damage to take him out of contention for the lead allowing Ratajczyk to pull away in the closing laps. Dixon would be unable to hold on to the second spot as Danny Haynes moved in around the bottom and moved past Dixon to finish second. Dixon crossed the line in third with Jason Frankel and Denny Woodworth rounding out the top five. A multi-car crash in turn three on the second lap took several cars out of contention including Cody Bauman and Doug Mandrell. Also involved in the accident were Bert Cheatham and Dewayne Kiefer.

Doug Wood claimed his first UMP Modified feature win of the 2005 season as he had to hold off serious challenges by Bobby Bittle and Brian Wolfmeier. Wood led all twenty laps but Bittle pulled along side Wood on several different occassions but couldn't make the pass. Wolfmeier made it a three car battle for the lead but in the end it was Wood holding on for the win. Wolfmeier edged out Bittle for the second spot. Ray Wagner took the fourth spot and Dennis Richards completed the top five.

Paul Bauman only led about fifty feet of the AARA Sportsman main event, but it was the final fifty feet as he inched ahead of Troy Medley to take the win. Medley led the first fourteen laps before settling for the second spot. Paul Belken crossed the line in third with Scott Stuppy taking fourth and Jeff LeBaube rounded out the top five.

Conrad Miner led wire-to-wire in the AARA Pro 4 Stock main event to pick up the win. Chris Fisher took second with Jason Crump third, Dustin Korte fourth and Mike McMullen took the fifth spot.

Ron Wick moved past early leader Danny Haynes and pulled away to a convincing victory in the Dwarf Car feature event. Bobby Black followed Haynes across the line to take third with John Leahy and Pam Sheppard rounded out the top five. Jim Daley walked away from a horrifying flip during his qualifying heat race. Daley made contact with the outside retaining wall in turn three causing his car to flip multiple times.
