Saturday, April 25th, was the hottest night of racing for the 2009 season. The weather was great and the racing was hot. There were 21 UMP Sportsman who came to win.Their division led off the night and it was Greg Spencer who won the first heat of the evening. He beat out Mark Bohnenstiehl, Rick Johnson, and Bryan Slover. Second heat went to Nathan Schmitt, then Ryan Eilers, Allan Geiseking, and Rob Lee. Jimm lafferty was top dog in the third heat beating out Justin Durbin, Tory Ernst, and Bobby Silkwood. The dash saw Durbin take the win over Schmitt, Bohnenstiehl, and Spencer. The fourth winner of the evening in the division was Mark Bohnenstiehl. Mark took the checkered flag first in the Feature. He was chased by Spencer, Geiseking, Johnson, Lee, Jeremy Nash, Russell Eilers, Slover, Josh Case, Ryan Eilers, Jon Ripperda, Silkwood, Durbin, Lafferty, Schmitt, Jon Huegen, Danny Beard, Aaron Melton, Ernst, Andy Casper,DNS, and Dan Ricklefs, Jr., DNS.

The 28 car UMP Late Model division saw Mark Voigt take the first checkered flag. He won the first heat over Mark Faust, Shane Tomlin, and Mike Schulte. Second heat went to Paul Bailey over Kerry Gaultney, Matt Taylor, and Dan Jacober. Third heat saw Frankie Martin win over Chad Zobrist, Dave Thornton, and John Beck. Fourth heat had Justin Ketrow lead Marty Smith, Jr, Rodney Standerfer, and Clay Baumann. It was Mark Faust who drove to the finish first in the dash. He was chased by Voigt, Ketrow, and Bailey. Consi winner was Michael Kloos who led Standridge, Diveley, Grondzki, Shannon Kuhn, Jason Zobrist, Michael Jacober, Bob Geaschel, Brent Helmkamp, Steve Leach, Dick Taylor, and Aaron Kleine. Mark Voigt also took the last checkered flag in the Feature. He won over Faust, Chad Zobrist, Bailey, Marty Smith, Jr, Matt Taylor, Schulte, Standridge, Tomlin, Baumann, Grondzki, Dave Thornton, John Beck, Gaultney, Diveley, Ketrow, Jacober, Kloos, Standerfer, and Martin.

The Steve Schmitt Modified division had 21 cars. It was Aaron Kleine whos swept the divison. Mike Harrison took the first heat over Jim Werner, Jr, Matt Acord, and Steve Ellison. Second heat saw Aaron Kleine take first over Steve Lach, Dean Hoffman, and Roger Fohne. Third heat belonged to Chris Smith, then Robbie Eilers, Eric Goetter, and Chad Sellers. Chasing Kleine in the dash was Werner, Jr, Lach, and Robbie Eilers. Feature winner Kleine was followed by Hoffman, Werner, Jr, Harrison, Lach, Fohne, Chris Smith, Acord, Blake Cook, Ron Hartnagel, Aaron Muller, Andy Oswald, Paul Becker, Tyler Deibert, Robbie Eilers, Sellers, Steve Ellison, Jesse Wisely, Goetter, Ryan Driemeyer, and Mike Linsky DNS.

The Street Stocks had 21 cars and five different winners. First winner was Steve Lech who took the first heat over Dennis Ponder, Jordan Bauer, and Andy Beavers. Second heat went to Bobby Dees, Jr then Michael Ripperda, Jr, Stephen Fohne, and Jeff Buss. Third heat saw Brad Venhaus (who was crowned king of Mater Dei’s Prom on this night) take the win. He beat out Billy Kruep, Terry McCann, and TJ Eilers. Consi order of finish was Stephen Flannery, Jr, Jake Hewitt, Dwayne Bateman,  James Rhoades, Jr , Dusty Sampson, and Keith Flannery. Last winner of the evening in this division was Dennis Ponder. He was chased by Leach, Venhaus, Dees, Jr., Ripperda, Jr., Kruep, McCann, Bauer, Fohne, Beavers, Hewitt, AJ Cline, Brian Crawford, Flannery, Jr, John Cory, Bateman, Eilers, and Buss.

Again the highest car count of the evening belonged to the UMP Factory Stock division with 30 cars. First driver to take the checkered flag was Bob Zbinden. He led Justin Suhre, Aaron Wood, and Matt Hamblin in the first heat. Second heat saw Josh James take the win over Scott Egbert, Austin Isaak, and Joe Joyce. Third heat had Nick Knebel winning over Tracy VonRohr, Jeremy Izard, and Travis Horner. The Consi had Tom Eilers lead the field of Jow Swip, Trevor Isaak, Dan Dodson, Eddie Sterns, Jon Easley, Ed Martiszus, Ryan Emig, Justin Hall, Tristan Wendler, Rick Viviano, Chad Burgess, Justin Shaw, Dale Bohnenstiehl, and Tony Stinde. It was Josh James who took his second checkered flag of the evening in the Feature. He beat out Knebel, Hamblin, Denison, VonRohr, Justin Suhre, Austin Isaak, Aaron Wood, Jordan Suhre, Jason Suhre, Izard, Seip, Horner, Joyce, Egbert, Trevor Isaak, Tom Eilers, and Zbinden.
