ALLSTAR Performance and Outerwears Joins Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series with Special Programs For 2011

Lucas Oil Late Model SeriesWAYCROSS, GA (February 9, 2011) -The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series is excited to announce along with the many contingency sponsors ALLSTAR Performance has come on board as the title sponsor for a special award for each race and a year end banquet award. The ALLSTAR Performer of the Race will be awarded at every race to the driver that has the best overall performance of the night. The winner of this award will get a $100 product certificate to use towards any parts from the ALLSTAR Performance Company. A special point’s category will be kept all year and the driver that earns the most ALLSTAR Performer of the Race points for the year will receive a special cash and product award at the year end banquet.

Another company that has joined the series in 2011 for the first time is the Outerwears Company. Outerwears has put together a special program for the East Bay Winternationals, a $500 cash award, and a year long contest that will award one driver a $1,500 cash award at the end of the year. The Outerwears Challenge will consist of a points system based on which drivers complete the most laps each night. The driver that completes the most overall laps, heat race, B-Main and feature event laps included and is running the Outerwears Shock Covers, the radiator pre filter and the air cleaner pre filter will be eligible to win the award. The driver that completes the most laps and is the highest finisher in the feature will win the Outerwears Challenge that night and receive points towards the week long Winternationals. The driver with the most Outerwear points at the end of the week will receive a $500 cash award at East Bay. Then a new Outerwears points system will start after the Winternationals and the points will be calculated all year and the driver with the most Outerwears points at the end of the year will receive a $1,500 cash award.

The DART Winternationals will have a special points fund for just the races at East Bay Raceway Park and the driver that earns the most points for the week will be the DARTn Winternationals Champion and receive $5,000 in cash. In addition DART has stepped up and added an additional starting spot in each feature throughout the week, bringing the total number of starting spots each nights feature to twenty-six. The DART Fast Pass provisional will be given each night to the fastest qualifier that did not earn a starting position in the feature.

Magnaflow Performance Exhaust will sponsor the Winternationals Strawberry Dash each night giving the winner of the dash the final starting position for the feature event each night of the DART Winternationals. This driver will start 26th each night in the feature event.
