Quad City Deery Series finale is Sept. 24-25
EAST MOLINE, Ill. (Feb. 10) – Dates of the $5,000 to win finale for the 2011 Deery Brothers Summer Series will be Saturday and Sunday, 24-25 at Quad City Speedway.
The original schedule for the 25th anniversary IMCA Late Model tour had that show pegged for Sept. 23-24.
“Moving the race keeps opening night off Friday, which means many fans won’t be forced to choose between attending the Deery show or their local high school football game,” explained Tour Director Kevin Yoder. “Sunday is also the regular race night at East Moline, so it makes sense to have the main event that evening.”
All 2011 series feature winners and IMCA Late Model track champions will be eligible to compete in a race of champions on Saturday night.
Nineteen events are on the upcoming tour schedule. Quad City also hosts the April 17 Deery event.
