Springfield,Mo.-The SpringfieldRaceway is still racing Sat with the running of the 5th annual John Kuntz Memorial LateModel Special presented by Andy’s Frozen Custard.
THe race card will feature the SuperLateModels of the MARS&MLRA Regional Series with drivers such as defending event winner Terry Phillips of Springfield,2 time event winner Jeremy Payne,Current MLRA Point leader Jesse Stovall of Galena,MARS Point leader Brad Looney of Republic,MLRA Champion Al Purkey of Coffeyville,Kansas,Lebanon’s Brandon McCormick,Tony Jackson Jr, Omaha’s John Anderson,Nebraska’s Kyle Berck and many more as they compete for the $3,000 to win feature event.Action will also feature the Transport Graphics Chase For the Championship featuring the Budweiser RHS USRA A-mods,Reliable Chevrolet SportMods,Missouri Legends and Casey’s General Stores Midwest Modz as they compete on the high-banked 1/4 mile dirt oval.
Pitgates open at 3PM while local drivers meeting is slated for 5:45 and hotlaps at 6:05 if possible.
Grandstand Gates open at 5PM for the first big special of the season.
Admission is $20 for Adults in the Grandstands while Kids 6-12 are only $5.Under 6 are Free.Pitpasses are $35 for this event.
