This Saturday night Cedar Ridge Speedway in Morgantown, KY will host a UMP Limited Modified Special paying $500 to win as well as a Street Stock Special paying $550 to win* (*with 8 or more cars).
Last Saturday night Mother Nature picked up the win ½ through the features which will set up a FULL night of action this weekend. The nights program will include make up features for UMP Limited Modifieds, Pure Stock, Cruiser and Bombers then Qualifying, Heats and Features for all divisions.
Last weekend’s spectator race will also be on the schedule for this Saturday night! This event will pay $100 to the winner and $50 for 2nd. The race will be eligible ONLY to cars that are driven on the street!
The UMP Limited Modified special will be run in 2 segments. The finishing order of the first segment will be inverted and lined up for the 2nd segment. The final finishing order will be determined by your combine finishes. Example… If you finish 2nd in the first segment and 4th in the 2nd segment you will have 6 total points. The driver with the lowest total points will be the winner of the $500 to win event. All cars running this event must meet Cedar Ridge Speedway rules.
As announced last week, any drivers that have not participated in races at Cedar Ridge Speedway in the 2011 season will be admitted [B][I]absolutely free [/I][/B]on their first visit during the remainder of the season.
Also a special announcement was made on Monday about the UMP Mini Stocks. In conjunction with Windy Hollow Speedway in Owensboro, If you run in the top 3 in the Mini Stock feature at Cedar Ridge on Saturday night this week, and win at Windy Hollow Speedway on Sunday you will be given a $50 bonus. Then if you finish at the top 3 at Windy Hollow Speedway on Sunday and win at Cedar Ridge Speedway NEXT Saturday again, you will pick up a $50 bonus.
Gates will open at 3pm cst, Draw will close at 6:30 with Qualifying at 6:45 and racing at 7:15pm.
General Admission is only $6.00 for adults and pit admission is $25.00
