Lucas Oil Late Model Series(WHEELERSBURG, OHIO)  After several straight weekends of seeing nothing but rain, the Conley Motorsports, Inc. teams broke out in a big way over the May 20-21 weekend by capturing a pair of Dirt Late Model victories.  Rod Conley struck first on Friday night at the Moler Raceway Park in Williamsburg, Ohio. “Hot Rod” timed in sixth fastest in ADRA Series qualifying and later won his heat race.  After starting the main event from the pole position, Rod kept the talented field behind him throughout the race to record the $2,500 payday over Tyler Carpenter, Eddie Carrier, Jr., Greg Johnson, and Kent Robinson!

It was Dirt Late Model Hall of Famer Delmas Conley’s turn to visit victory lane on Saturday evening at the K-C Raceway in Chillicothe, Ohio.  Delmas ran second in heat race action and later took advantage of a couple of frontrunner’s misfortunes in the A-Main to score the 541st victory in his illustrious career.  Delmas beat Mike Wilson, Audie Swartz, his son Rod Conley, and Mark Frazier to the checkers to claim the $1,500 top prize.  Full results from both weekend races in the Buckeye State can be accessed by clicking on www.dirtondirt.com.

The two winners from last weekend will head back to the K-C Raceway in Chillicothe, Ohio to do battle once again this Saturday, May 28.  Delmas and Rod will both vie for the $1,500 winner’s share at the south-central Ohio speedplant this weekend.  R.J. Conley has opted to take his #71c team west for a pair of high-profile events in the states of Missouri and Illinois.

Up first for R.J. will be his first trip to the pristine Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri on Friday and Saturday for the 19th Annual ‘Show-Me 100.’  The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will sanction the $30,000 to win extravaganza, which will be taped for broadcast on CBS Sports Spectacular on June 19.  On the way home, R.J. plans to hit the Tri-City Speedway in Granite City, Illinois on Sunday for the $10,000 to win ‘Budweiser 50.’  You can view the latest schedule plans for all three Conley’s by pointing your web browser to www.conleymotorsportsinc.com.
