Tight Point Battles Headline Midway Action

Lebanon MidwayLebanon,Mo-The 2011 Chase for the Championship gets even tighter at the Lebanon Midway Speedway as action gets back into swing Friday ngiht at 8PM.

Currently Sundance Keepper of Everton tops the Central Bank FactoryStock standings following a last lap victory last Friday night,while defending champion Tyson Troutman of Houston trails only by 18 ponts.Josh Franklin of Camdenton,rookie Shawn Whitman of Strafford and Montreal’s Craig Danuser complete the top 5 while early season leader James Flood,Donnie Miller,Burl Woods,Mark Davis and Chris Wynn round out the top 10.

Defending Aaron’s Modified champion Michael Stake will head into this Friday Nights event with a 50 point lead over veteran JC Newell of Decaturville while St Robert driver Bill Schaar has quietly moved into the number three spot as Lebanon’s Kris Jackson fell to fourth place and last weeks winner Shawn Strong rounds out the top 5.A very tight battle for 6th place finds Nixa’s Greg Strong followed by Tyler Brown,Brian Myers,Tommy McBride and Lebanon’s Lonnie Henderson.

The Energy Company PureStocks has defending champion Kory Barker back on top by winning the feature last week.Monk Barker is only 3 points behind Kory while Matt Young,Shorty Doublin and Kolt Barker complete the top 5.Chad Hufft,Robert Doublin,Doug Phelps,rookie Brandon Henderson and Jason Brumlery complete the top 10 with some very tight battles going on.

The Rocky Ridge Construction Midwest Modz also is anyones race as defending champion Little JC Newell only holds a 7 point lead over last weeks last lap,last turn winner Rich Reynolds as Lebanon’s Bill Joiner and 2 time winner Earl Muilenburg are only separated by 4 points while Sam Petty rounds out the top 5 only 9 out of third place.Lebanon’s Adam Lowrance,Camdenton’s Les Hayes,Ft Wood’s Robert Staats,Dakota Maggard and Joplin’s Ryan Hendrix round out the top 10.

The Transport Graphics StreetStocks finds defending champion Joe Francis opening up a 24 point lead over Lebanon’s Trevor Elllingson while Lynchburg’s Brandon Waters is only 2 points out of second place.Rodney yost,Tom Curnutt,Josh Lewis.Ricky Brashears,2 time feature winner Mark Simon,Billy Waters and Keith Cheever round out the top 10.

This season it seems that last lap passes have been the theme with many victories coming in the last 2 laps of the features.

Grandstand Gates open at 5:30 with Hotlaps at 7:05 and Racing at 8PM.General Admission for Adults is only $10 while Juniors(8-15) are $5 and Under 8 Free.The speedway also offers a family night package which includes 2 Adults and 3 Juniors for only $25 while VIP Booth seating is available most race nights.
