Summit Modified NationalsBROWNSTOWN, Ind. – June 15, 2011 – A line strong storms that traveled through the Jackson County Fairgrounds early Wednesday morning has forced DIRTcar Racing and Brownstown Speedway officials to postpone the scheduled DIRTcar Summit Racing Equipment Modified Nationals event at the quarter-mile oval to Tuesday, July 12.

The storms brought heavy rains and lightning that saturated the grounds, diminishing any chance of racing. The Hoosier Dirt Classic on July 12 will include the DIRTcar Summer Nationals Hell Tour event, as well.
