Keith Pratt, Steven DeLonjay, Aaron Brocksieck,  Wes Mayfield and Robert Thompson all took home the coveted Pepsi Mid Season Championship feature event wins in a rain delayed event on Wednesday June 29 at Quincy Raceways.

Keith Pratt drew the pole position for the Budweiser IMCA Late Model feature event and put it to good use as he led all thirty laps on his way to picking up the hardware but it was not a runaway for Pratt as Joey Gower and Lonnie Bailey kept the pressure on for the lead. The top three drivers, Pratt, Gower and Bailey  were within two or three car lengths of each other throughout the event until the checkered flag fell with Gower in second, Bailey in third, Billy Genenbacher in fourth and Robbie Warner in fifth. Bailey and Pratt were the heat race winners.

Steven DeLonjay picked up his third feature win of the year in the Miller Lite UMP Modified Pepsi Mid Season Championship event. Shawn Deering and Danny Crane battled fiercely behind DeLonjay but were unable to close the gap and had to settle for second and third. Troy Grotz and David Wietholder took third and fourth. Deering and Crane were the heat race winners.

Aaron Brocksieck took the top spot in the Triple R Performance Engines IMCA Stock Car Pepsi Mid Season Championship event but it was not an easy task as Brocksieck had to battle with Beau Taylor and Kevin Tomlinson to take the win. Taylor settled for second followed by Tomlinson in third, Abe Huls in fourth and Gabe Harrison in fifth. Taylor took the heat race win.

Wes Mayfield took the win in the KRNQ Pepsi Inside Track Hobby Stock Mid Season feature event followed by Jake Powers in second, Steve Carlin in third, Tanner Klingele in fourth and Jim Powell in fifth. Nathan Hayes and Carlin were the heat race winners.

Bill Michel looked to be the shoo in winner in the Summy Tire and Auto Center Wild Thing Mid Season Championship event but it was not be be as tire trouble coming to the white flag brought the rest of the field into striking distance on the last lap. Robert Thompson made his move from third to first during the final lap to claim the hardware and title with Kimberly Abbott in second, Austin Uppinghouse in third, Michel in fourth and Seith Woodruff in fifth.

Coming up on Sunday July 3 at Quincy Raceways will be about the biggest event of the 2011 race season with the second appearance of the Deery Brothers Summer Series for IMCA Late Models. The first ever appearance of the IMCA Sanctioned Northern Sport Modifieds in Illinois will also be featured and the economy division will be racing for $00 to Win in their feature event.
