Back To School Night At SpringfieldRaceway Also Features Pepsi-Night At Races

Springfield RacewaySpringfield,Mo.-The Action will even turn up another notch Sat night at the Quick-Quarter of the Springfield Raceway as a host of area businesses will be sponsoring the Back To School Supply Night co-sponsored by Pepsi Bottling in Springfield.

Action wll feature the USRA Modifieds,B-Mods,Legends,Midwest Modz,StreetStocks and PureStocks in the Transport Graphics chase for the championship.

Saturday August 6 will be our back to school night at the Springfield Raceway presented by Pepsi.Area businesses have graciously donated school suplpies to be given away at the speedway.A big Thank You goes to Doug & Ramona Edgeman of Dougs Pro Lube for helping organizing this event.A Thank You goes out to all these area businesses for donating money or school supplies : Dougs Pro Lube,Schreiber Foods,G.L. Moore Tire,Yoeman Racing Engines,Big R & Friends, Jackie Dalton Racing,Cott,Auto Xpress,Andys Frozen Custard,Hoffman Racecars.

Kids 12 and under will be admitted Free as these fine sponsors will help distribute packets of schools supplies to the kids that night.All kids 12 and under will recieve a Free packet and should any be left over,THe Speedway will distribute evenly those left over after all kids recieve some.

Jackie Dalton still maintains the point lead in the USRA Modified division as Jody tillman,Erik Maggard and a host of others fight it out for positions.Last Saturday’s featrue went 20 laps caution free as Bobby Pearish captured his second win of the season with 3 wide action all night long.

Republic’s Bobby Maggard still holds a slim lead over Springfield’s JC Morton in the B-Mod class while Trevor Drake maintains the Midwest modz lead over last weeks winner Sam Petty of Niangua.

Dave Comer of Joplin continues to be as hot as the weather in the Legend Cars standing while Park Jones still holds a narrow runner-up spot.Comer has been doing it the hard way by starting 12th each week as the average Legend Car count is 20 cars per night.

Branson’s Bryan Tillman and Niangua’s Tim Petty still run 1-2 in the FactoryStock standings while Ava’s Jack Hamer holds the top spot over Springfield’s James Redus in the PureStock standings.

Grandstand gates open at 5PM with hotlaps at 6:30 and Racing at 7:15.

Grandstand Admission is only $10 for Adults while this week Kids 12 and Under are Free.
