On 08-05-2011 Valley Speedway changed things up and brought the Saturday night show to Friday night. A slight break from the heat made for a great night of racing with four classes of racing. Gary Joslin was on hand to present all the winners with watches. The heat races were action packed as drivers competed for passing points to set the starting grid for the features.

The first feature of the night was the Dirt Demon class. On the front row was Scott Snyder and to his outside the consistent Jessica Lane. Scott Snyder was able to jump out into the lead, however was kept in check by John Snyder and Lane. Scott Snyder would lead the cars to the checkers followed by John Snyder, Lane and Grecco.

The final feature of the night saw twenty seven of the best Amods in the Midwest take the track. Aaron Marrant and Kerry Davis would lead the rumbles of the Amod class to the green. Early in the race Davis would get around Marrant and assume the lead, with a freight train of cars on his heels. Moody who started in the fifth spot found his home on the outside of the track, and rocketed to the front of the pack. It seemed like Moody may have found a line that nobody could touch. As the race progressed Thompson found a lower line on the track, and was able to assume the lead. As the race progressed Thompson and Moody would catch up to some lapped traffic, however with surgeon like skills they carved their way around the track and the race stayed close. Behind the top two drivers Westerhold and Karrick locked into a tight battle for the third and fourth place spot. Both drivers made up several positions to make it up towards the front. Westerhold was able to get around Karrick in the later stages of the race. Jason Thompson would lead the field to the checkers. Moody would edge out Westerhold for second and fourth went to Karrick. Rounding out the top five was Bodenhammer. The Amods put on a terrific show, starting twenty seven cars and finishing twenty three. It was one clean race!
