Summit Racing Equipment Comes On Board as Title Sponsor of the 7th Annual UMP Modified Mania with Tri City Speedway

Tri-City SpeedwayPontoon Beach, IL (August 25th, 2011) – Tri-City Speedway and Summit Racing Equipment are excited to announce their partnership in presenting the Summit Racing Equipment 7th Annual UMP DIRTcar Modified Mania Nationals.

The Summit Racing Equipment 7th Annual UMP DIRTcar Modified Mania Nationals will be held September 22nd through September 24th at Tri-City Speedway in Pontoon Beach, IL. Each of the three nights will be a separate event with each night paying $3,000 to the winner and $300 just to start the 24 car A-Main.

This promises to be one of the most exciting UMP DIRTcar Modified events of the season at Tri-City Speedway.

“We have recently wrapped up our UMP Dirtcar Summit Racing Modified Nationals Series and felt this event would be another great opportunity to support the UMP modified racers” said Jim Greenleaf, Summit Racing Equipment Motorsports and Event Manager. “We’re proud to be working with Tri City Speedway on this exciting 3-day event that will feature big car counts, big payouts and great modified racing”.

Tri-City Speedway is located just across the Mississippi River from St. Louis, MO in Pontoon Beach, IL. Take Interstate 270 to exit 4 (Hwy 203) and then go south on Hwy 203 approximately 1/2 mile to the track.
