(Warrensburg, MO) Six different classes are set to compete at Central Missouri Speedway during Labor Day Weekend at Central Missouri Speedway (CMS). B-modifieds are set for their annual track special event on Saturday, September 3rd for $1,500-to-win while Modifieds will race for $3,000 to win on Sunday evening September 4th. The excitement starts on Saturday night when modified drivers will compete for inside row starting positions for the big-money race through a series of heat races, b-main, and scramble event. B-modifieds will gun for starting spots in their annual special and ULMA late models and street stocks will compete for championship points. Saturday is not a track points-earning night for modifieds or b-mods.

The annual Labor Day two-day special features all four regular CMS classes on Saturday, September 3rd with regular grandstand and pit prices. Although b-mods will headline the program Saturday, the Modifieds will be competing for the inside row starting positions for the following night’s modified special. Street Stocks and ULMA late models will be competing for weekly track points. On Sunday, September 4th, modifieds return to settle the outside row starting positions for the $3,000-to-win 40-lap main event. Also on the card that night is the first-ever CMS appearance by Grand National cars; Midwest Lightning Sprints (MLS) will make their third and final appearance of the year and the street stocks will be back for another night of action.

On Sunday evening, night two of the special-event weekend continues with modifieds returning for another complete program of heat races, b-main and scramble event to determine the outside row starting positions. For the first time ever, Grand National cars will compete at CMS as a special guest class for $400 to win. Street Stocks will return on Sunday as well for a night of competition and the Midwest Lightning Sprints will make their third appearance of the year at the speedway for a series points-earning event.
