Waycross, GA (October 12, 2011) – The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series is excited to announce the special Pace Car Give Away Contest Grand Prize winner is Jeff McDonald out of Williamstown, WV. The special Pace Car give-a-way contest began back in February at the DART Winternationals in Tampa, Florida and ended this past weekend at Dixie Speedway for the Dixie Shootout. Over 23,000 people registered for a chance to win the special 2011 Chevy RS Camaro that was used as the series pace car all year long. As part of his Grand Prize package, Jeff and his wife will be special guests of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series this weekend at K-C Raceway and presented the keys to the car in front of the crowd on the front straight away as the grand prize winner.

Several other special activities will take place over the course of the weekend including on Friday October 14th a special “Fast Time” presentation at the U. S. Steel DTWC presented by Sunoco for the driver that sets the overall fastest qualifying lap. Red Buck Cigars and www.dirtondirt.com will award the fastest qualifier a cool $500 each for a total of $1,000 being awarded to the driver that sets the fastest qualifying lap. Red Buck Cigars and DirtonDirt have teamed up to give drivers an added incentive to try and set the fastest lap in qualifying by offering the $1,000 bonus.

Sunoco, the presenting sponsor of the event, has teamed up with Lucas Oil Products to offer fans a special free give-a-way promotion associated with this event this weekend. Race fans that visit any one of six Sunoco gas stations/convenience stores near K-C Raceway in Waverly Ohio and Chillicothe Ohio and purchase at least $10 in Sunoco gas will receive a special coupon from the store to receive a free 8oz bottle of Lucas Oil Slick Mist. The participating Sunoco stores include Huckleberry’s on 11724 SR 104, Waverly, OH 45690, the Pitt Stop at 21 Star Drive, Chillicothe, OH 45601, East Main Street Sunoco at 1112 E Main Street, Chillicothe, OH 45601, 24- Hour Fuel Station at 199 W Main Street, Chillicothe, OH 45601, Massieville Sunoco at 7942 US 23, Chillicothe, OH 45601 and Bud’s One Stop at 35595 US Rt 35 in Chillicothe, OH 45601.

With the purchase of $10 or more of Sunoco gas at the Sunoco stores each customer will receive a special coupon to redeem their free bottle of Lucas Oil Slick Mist at the MavTV Tent at K-C Raceway on October 14-15th. One bottle per customer will be handed out to fans that have the special coupon they received from one of the six participating stores.

The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will also have a special promotion on Friday and Saturday at K-C Raceway at the MavTV Tent in the vendor area just past the main entrance to the grandstands. MavTV will be giving race fans numerous free gifts if they register for the two grand prize packages that will be given away on Saturday night. The MavTV Girls will be in the booth to help fans register for the grand prize packages that includes several Lucas Oil Products and apparel. Fans can start registering for the grand prize packages at the MavTV tent on Friday as well as Saturday. The winners will be announced over the PA system and awarded their prize packages at the track Saturday night.
