DIRTcar(BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS) Following a red-hot start to his 2012 season out west in Arizona during the “Wild West Shootout” that included three trips to victory lane, Billy Moyer and his legendary #21 team will look to continue that success when they visit three different Southeastern venues from February 10-25 during “Speedweeks 2012.” Billy is set to enter a total of ten events at the Screven Motor Speedway in Sylvania, Georgia, the Bubba Raceway Park in Ocala, Florida, and the Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Florida.

Up first will be a rare trip to Screven on February 10-11 for the ‘Winter Freeze.’ The World of Outlaws Late Model Series lid lifter will pay a whopping $20,000 to the winner this weekend. After a few days off, Billy will return to action from February 16-18 at BRP in three more World of Outlaws Late Model Series showdowns. Billy’s version of “Speedweeks 2012” will then conclude at Volusia with the annual ‘DIRTcar Nationals’ from February 20-25, which is comprised of six programs sanctioned by both the UMP DIRTcar Series and the World of Outlaws Late Model Series.

“We got off to a nice start to our year out in Arizona and it would be great to back that up with a strong Speedweeks down south,” explained Moyer recently. “The competition level will be ramped up for sure, but I liked the way our car felt last month in Arizona. If we can keep that feel in the car and stay out of trouble, I think we can be successful at Screven, Ocala, and Volusia. It will be fun to go down there with Billy Jr. and his race team and hopefully we can help them get off to a great start on that World of Outlaws deal.”
