IMCA Modifieds see their first action of the 2012 season at Batesville Motor Speedway, running for a top prize of $1,500 each night of the March 8-10 Mid-America Modified Championship special.

Thursday, Friday and Saturday night features are all qualifying events for the 2012 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot. The top driver in points for the three nights is also guaranteed a $500 bonus.

IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing national, Central Region and Allstar Performance State points will be given for each show.

Features at the 16th annual event pay a minimum of $150 to start. Entry fee for the weekend is $100 if postmarked by March 1 or $150 after that date.

Pit gates open at 3 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5:30 p.m. each day. Hot laps are at 6:30 and racing starts at 7 p.m. Pit passes are $30 each night. Grandstand admission is $10 for adults and free for kids 11 and under when accompanying an adult.
