BATESVILLE, Ark. (March 7) – Wet and windy forecasts for this weekend have resulted in postponement of the Mid-America Modified Championship at Batesville Motor Speedway.
IMCA Modifieds now run for $1,500 to win each night of a Thursday, Friday and Saturday March 22-24 special.
All three features will be qualifying events for the 2012 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot and pay a minimum of $150 to start. The top driver in points for the three nights earns a $500 bonus.
IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing national, Jet Racing Central Region and Allstar Performance state points will be given for each show. Entry fee for the weekend is $150.
Pit gates open at 3 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5:30 p.m. each day. Hot laps are at 6:30 p.m. and racing starts at 7 p.m. Pit passes are $30 each night. Grandstand admission is $10 for adults and free for kids 11 and under when accompanying a paid adult.
