World of Outlaws Late Model Series(BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS) Batesville, Arkansas standout Billy Moyer made his return to the I-30 Speedway in Little Rock, Arkansas a successful one on Saturday night, March 24, as he picked up a $2,000 Comp Cams Super Dirt Series feature win! In his first visit to Little Rock in nearly a decade, Billy moved from fifth to second in his heat race to earn the pole position for the 35-lap main event. The popular driver known as “Mr. Smooth” then dominated the A-Main and thrilled his homestate fans by picking up his sixth victory of the year over Billy Moyer, Jr., Morgan Bagley, Gary Christian, and Jeff Chandler. Full results from I-30 can be accessed online at www.compdirt.com.

“We had a lot of experimental stuff on the car and it worked pretty well,” exclaimed Moyer earlier today. “It had been awhile since I had raced at Little Rock, so it was good to win there and in front of the homestate fans. We’ll switch back to our old faithful car for this weekend at Farmer City. I have had pretty good luck there in the Illini 100 and hopefully that continues this weekend. Farmer City is one of my favorite racetracks and I really enjoy racing up in that area, so it should be a lot of fun this Friday and Saturday.”

Next up for the Billy Moyer Racing (BMR) team will be a trip to the Land of Lincoln over the March 30-31 weekend for the annual running of the ‘Illini 100.’ The World of Outlaws Late Model Series will preside over the $20,000 to win extravaganza this weekend at the Farmer City Raceway in Farmer City, Illinois. Qualifying and heat race action is slated for Friday night, while the consolation races and the 100-lap ‘Illini 100’ will headline the weekend on Saturday. Billy is undefeated in two ‘Illini 100′ appearances, as he took home the checkers in both 2008 and 2010.
