Rescheduled date creates major five-race swing Sept. 6-10 through California
CONCORD, N.C. – April 20, 2012 – The World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series event at Calistoga Speedway has been rescheduled for Sunday, Sept. 9.
The race, which was originally scheduled for March 31, succumbed to heavy rain. It will now be part of a five-race swing through California the weekend after Labor Day.
The 59th annual Gold Cup Race of Champions is Sept. 6-8 at Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico. The teams will then head approximately 130 miles southeast toward the coast for the event at Calistoga Speedway on Sept. 9. The World of Outlaws will wrap up the California schedule on Sept. 10 at Antioch Speedway in Antioch.
