Emergency Services Night At Springfield Raceway Awaits Round 2 Of Championship Chase

Springfield Raceway  Springfield,Mo.-After an outstanding opening night of racing at the “Quick-Quarter” of the Springfield Raceway in the Transport Graphics Championship chase,Emergency Services night will await round number 2 Sat night.

All Emergency Service Personel and their families will be admitted free for this Sat Night’s Stock-Car Racing program.A Badge ID will be required for the Free Admission.

“This is a small way of us saying thank you to the people who put their own life to help and save others.”quoted Owners Jerry Hoffman and Doug Bland.’The people such as EMT’s,Fire-Fighters,Police Officers and such are so important to everyone everyday and we take that for granted until they are needed.This is just our simple way of saying Thank You for being there.”

Round 2 of the Transport Graphics will see action in the USRA Budweiser Modifieds, USRA Reliable Chevrolet GM Performance B-Mods,Casey’s General Stores Midwest Modz,Pepsi Pure Stocks,Wheeler Metals Legends and Young Lions Legends,and the Williams Lawn Care Street Stocks.Last week 90 race teams checked into the Speedway and provided outstanding racing action in all classes

Grandstand gates will open at 5PM with hotlaps slated to begin around 6PM and Racing at 7PM.Drivers meeting will be before hot-laps around 5:40PM.

Grandstand Adult Admission is only $12 for Adults while kids 6-12 are only $5 and under 6 Free.Pit passes are $25

Current point leaders include Erik Maggard(USRA Modifieds),of Brighton,Scott Drake(USRA B-Mods) of Webb City,Rusty Forrest(Midwest Modz) of Ozark,Mike Hailman(Legends) of Reed Springs,Jack Hamer(PureStocks) of Ava, Wayne Morris(Street Stocks)of Miami,Okla and Wesley Smith(Young Lions) of Nixa while defending track champions are Jackie Dalton(USRA Modifieds),Bobby Maggard Jr(USRA B-Mods),Trevor Drake(Midwest Modz),Jack Hamer(PureStocks) and Dave Comer(Legends).
