World of Outlaws Late Model SeriesBatesville, Arkansas (4/26/12) – After a one-week break Billy Moyer Jr. will return to action this weekend in his #21jr Henderson Motorsports/Car City/Imperial Motors/Victory Circle M1 Chassis By Moyer/Pro Power Racing Engine Super Late Model with a pair of events in Alabama and Mississippi.

Billy was originally slated to travel to Kansas and Oklahoma this weekend for a trio of MARS events that included the $12,000-to-win, 2nd Annual Sunflower Showdown at the Great American Dirt Track (Jetmore, Kansas). However, an unfavorable forecast forced the postponement of the events. As a result, the team has changed their plans, and will now begin their weekend on Friday night at North Alabama Speedway (Tuscumbia, Alabama) with a $10,000-to-win, World of Outlaws (WoO) Super Late Model event. On Saturday evening the action will shift to Don Cliburn’s Jackson Motor Speedway (Byram, Mississippi) for a $2,500-to-win program. For more information on the events, please visit www.WoOLMS.com, www.NorthAlabamaSpeedway.com, and www.JacksonMotorSpeedway.net .

Billy was last in action, April 13th-14th, entered a pair of events over the weekend in Arkansas and Mississippi. On Friday night he took part in a COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) event at Batesville Motor Speedway (Locust Grove, Arkansas) as twenty-nine competitors registered for action. A second place finish in his heat race locked him into the $2,000-to-win, 30 lap feature. In the feature he would race his way forward to a third place finish behind race winner, Billy Moyer, and RC Whitwell. Full results are available at www.COMPDirt.com.

On Saturday the team made the trek to Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) for the $8,000-to-win, Spring Throw Down at the 3/8 mile oval. With 43 entries on hand Billy began the night by qualifying third fastest in his group to earn a front row starting spot for his heat race. He would go on to finish second in his heat to lock into the fifth starting spot for the 50 lap feature. Early in the feature he would advance to as high as the third spot before ultimately finishing sixth in the final rundown behind race winner, Billy Moyer, Ray Moore, Chris Wall, Ronny Lee Hollingsworth, and Neil Baggett.
