BATESVILLE, AR (May 2) – Following a rare weekend off from Dirt Late Model competition, the Billy Moyer Racing (BMR) team rolled into the North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, Alabama on Friday night, April 27. The World of Outlaws Late Model Series invaded NAS to sanction a $10,000 to win program. Billy Moyer laid down the twenty-first fastest lap during WOOLMS time trials and later grabbed the fourth and final transfer spot through his loaded heat race. After rolling off from the inside of the seventh row in the 50-lap feature event, Billy retired after only seven circuits in the caution-plagued race and wound up twenty-third in the final rundown. The famed #21 team is scheduled to hit the track this upcoming weekend (May 4-5) in a pair of Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series showdowns in the states of Illinois and Kentucky. On Friday night, the Tri-City Speedway in Granite City, Illinois will play host to a $10,000 to win battle, while the Paducah International Raceway in Paducah, Kentucky will do the same on Saturday evening.
