Mark Burgtorf, Jared Schlipman, Abe Huls, Tony Dunker, Brandon Symmonds and Chuck Fullenkamp all took feature event wins atQuincy Racewayson Sunday May 27 during Gem City Ford Night at the Races.

Mark Burgtorf made a clean sweep to the UMP Super Late Model division as he took the checkered flag in the heat, dash and thirty lap main events. Burgtorf took off from his pole position in the feature event and held off Denny Woodworth for the win. Woodworth crept within a car length of Burgtorf late in the event but had to settle for the second spot followed by Jason Perry in third, Jim Moon in fourth and Dustin Griffin in fifth. Jim Moon took the second heat race win.

Jared Schlipmanled all twenty five laps of the Miller Lite UMP Modified feature event but had to survive a multitude of caution flag and the charges of Steven DeLonjay to take the victory. DeLonjay settled for second followed by Shawn Deering in third, Robbie Reed in fourth and Jake Griffin in fifth.Griffin, Deering and DeLonjay were the heat race winners.

Abe Huls picked up his fourth feature win in six tries in the IMCA Stock Car main event. Huls had to hold off Jerry Jansen and Darin Weisinger to take the win followed by Jansen, Weisinger,Terry Houstonand Gabe Harrison. Huls also claimed the heat race win.

Tony Dunker also claimed his fourth feature win of the season in the Summy Tire and Auto Center IMCA Northern SportMod division. Dunker held off a couple of very determined competitors in Bobby Anders and Vance Wilson to claim the win with Anders in second, Wilson in third, Brandon Dale in fourth and Joe Bliven in fifth. Dunker and Wilson were the heat race victors.

Brandon Symmonds took his first feature win of the 2012 season in the Quincy Hobby Stocks over Jake Powers,Tanner Klingele, Nathan Hayes andJeremy Buss. Powers and Klingele were the heat race winners.

Chuck Fullenkamp came from his fifth row starting spot to take the win in the IMCA Sport Compacts over Casey Lambert in second, Andrew Davis in third, Thomas Angelo in fourth and Seith Woodruff in fifth.

Coming up next at Quincy Racewayson Sunday June 3 will be Coors Beer Night at the Races in the start of the new Summer Schedule for Quincy Raceways. The event times will be now be one hour later as the days get longer and hotter. The Pit Gates will now open at 3:30, Grandstands at 5:00, Drivers Registration ends at 5:30, Drivers Meeting at 5:30, Hot laps at 5:45 and Racing at 6:30pm.
