(WHEATLAND, MISSOURI) June 5, 2012 – Friday kicks off the GEICO John Haas Memorial Drag Boat Classic Presented by General Tire, with Practice from 10 AM – 4 PM on Lake Lucas. Friday will also feature a LIVE Concert by Nashville Recording Artist, Jason Sturgeon. Sturgeon will perform from 6 PM – 9 PM on the Lucas Oil Speedway Midway Stage. Two great events on Friday, fun for fans of all ages. The fun doesn’t stop there. Saturday morning racing action will be in full swing on Lake Lucas. Qualifying runs will begin at 9 AM and continue throughout the day. A ticket to Saturday’s Drag Boat Race also includes admission to the Diamond of Dirt Tracks that evening. One ticket, double the fun and double the value! The Lucas Oil Weekly Racing Championship Series will be in action with TNT Quick Shop presenting $500 to Win in the Carson’s Corner Napa Factory Stocks for 93.5 Rocks Lucas Oil Speedway Night at the Races. The ALPS Food Stores ULMA Late Models, Pitts Homes A-Modifieds and DJ’s RV B-Modifieds will be on hand for a great night of dirt track racing. Sunday will cap off the exciting 3-Day event with Elimination Rounds beginning at 9 AM. The Show-Me Beach at Lake Lucas will also be open for swimming, volleyball, horseshoes, tether ball and more! The Inaugural GEICO John Haas Memorial Drag Boat Classic Presented by General Tire, honors 4-Time Top Fuel Hydro World Champion John Haas who tragically lost his life in a practice crash in 2010. Friday, June 8th with a Test & Tune Practice Session presented by Ozarks Coca-Cola/Dr. Pepper Bottlers. Admission is just $10 on Friday. Check out your local convenience store for specially marked Coca-Cola Bottles grant FREE admission to Friday’s Test & Tune. Following Friday’s Practice Session, a special BBQ dinner will be served to all guests with a Boat Pit Pass, dinner is just $10 for all others. Dinner will be served beginning at 6 PM, as Jason Sturgeon performs live until 9 PM.
Saturday’s Double Feature at Lake Lucas and Lucas Oil Speedway is only $25 for Adults, $20 for Seniors age 62 & up, $10 for Youth age 6-15, kids age 5 and under are FREE. Gates open Saturday morning at 7 AM, Qualifying will begin at 9 AM. For guests wishing to only attend the dirt track race on Saturday Night, admission after 5 PM is just $12 for Adults, $8 for Seniors age 62 & up, $5 for Youth age 6-15, kids age 5 and under are always FREE.
Sunday, June 10th the baddest, fastest most extreme boats in the country will line up for final Eliminations. Gates open at 7 AM with first round eliminations at 9 AM. General Admission Tickets are
