Lebanon-I-44-Speedway(LEBANON, Missouri) – With the 2012 campaign nearing its halfway point, Lebanon I-44 Speedway will remain silent this weekend with racing scheduled to return on Tuesday night, July 3, for a mid-week holiday special headlined by the O’Reilly Auto Parts ASA Late Models ‘Firecracker 50.’ The extended 50-lap main event for the showcase division at Missouri’s only asphalt oval will highlight a night jam-packed with treats for fans including a special appearance by the Monster Energy FMX Motocross Stunt Team and an extraordinary fireworks extravaganza that will serve as the nightcap.

“We wanted to make this a special night for every fan in attendance,” said Lebanon I-44 Speedway Promoter Kevin Greven. “In order to accommodate the only area appearance by the Monster Energy FMX Motocross Stunt Team this year, we had to move our Fourth of July holiday special to a Tuesday night show and we couldn’t be more excited for what we have in store for fans. In addition to the breathtaking stunts from the FMX Motocross squad, we have an amazing aerial fireworks display lined up to close out a star-studded night of racing and sizzling summer action.”

While the stars and cars of the O’Reilly Auto Parts ASA Late Models will lead the way during next Tuesday’s ninth ‘Kickin’ Asphalt’ program of the season, the Budweiser Modifieds and Hardee’s Sportsman, as well as the track’s two entry-level classes, the Hoosier Tire Road Warriors and Coca-Cola Chargers, comprise a full undercard that promises to pack a punch on a night chock full of excitement. Spectator gates open up at 5:00 p.m., with a full slate of ASA stock car racing scheduled to get underway at 7:30 p.m. on the 3/8th-mile oval.

Lebanon I-44 Speedway offers an alcohol-free grandstand, featuring aluminum seating with seat-backs, along with tier parking for cars, pickup trucks and RV’s where patrons may park, tailgate and view the races. Known amongst I-44 race fans as the ‘Budweiser Wild Side’, beer may be brought in by fans to the tier parking areas, while full food and non-alcoholic beverage concessions are available in both the grandstands and tier parking, along with a souvenir and track apparel stand.

Admission prices will remain just $10 for Adults, ages 16 and older, in the grandstands while Adult admission on the ‘Budweiser Wild Side’ will remain just $15. Discounted admission will be offered in both locations for Military members with an ID present, as well as Seniors (ages 65 and older) and Juniors (ages 11-15), and Children (ages 10 and younger) will be admitted for free. A grandstand Family Pass for two Adults and two Juniors plus any number of Children is available for $25, while six Adults entering in the same vehicle on tiered parking will be admitted to the ‘Budweiser Wild Side’ for $75.

“Perhaps the best part of this whole deal is the ticket prices,” said Greven. “We decided not to raise the price so that fans could bring their whole family out and enjoy the racing action and fireworks nightcap. You will not find more bang for the buck anywhere in Mid-Missouri during this upcoming holiday week and we’re excited to see fans come out in droves next Tuesday night.”

Lebanon I-44 Speedway is located four miles east of the Lebanon city limit on Historic Route 66. Patrons using Interstate 44 may take Exit 135 and then drive approximately one mile east on Route 66 to the track’s main entrance.

Additional information about the track’s 2012 ‘Kickin’ Asphalt’ racing schedule may be found on the facility’s official website, www.i44speedway.net, on Facebook at www.facebook.com/Lebanon-I-44-Speedway, and on Twitter (@i44Speedway).
