(June 26, 2012) Buckner, MO – The traditional 4th of July weekend races for the Lucas Oil MLRA will take place this Friday and Saturday in Nebraska and Iowa. The Midwest Trifecta is first up on Friday June 29th at I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, NE. The Liberty 50 will run Saturday June 30th at Adams County Speedway in Corning, IA.
Featuring the Lucas Oil MLRA as well as Corn Belt Clash and MARS Late Models, the weekend promises to provide strong fields and awesome racing. Also on the card Friday will be ASCS Sprint Cars and A Modifieds. Any fan who is able to correctly pick the three feature winners will be placed into a drawing for a $1,000 cash prize. This will be the final chance for a driver to capture a coveted spot in the 2nd Annual Silver Dollar Nationals, at I-80 Speedway, in July.
Adams County Speedway has stepped up this year and increased their race to $5,000 to win. The Liberty 50 is a favorite amongst fans, as the grandstands will be packed for this race. An enormous fireworks show will take place following the action Saturday too. Chad Simpson has won the last two features at ACS and will be looking for the three peat this weekend.
