Ponderosa SpeedwayJunction City, KY-July 27, 2012- Ponderosa Speedway would race with Mother Nature and win on Friday evening as the racing program was completed and Brad Neat of Dunnville, KY would claim the $2,500 payday with his victory in the 10th Annual John Bradshaw Memorial for the Good Neighbor Pharmacy Late Models.  Other feature event winners included Tommy Bailey of Corbin, KY in Clayton Homes Modifieds, Bartley Grant of Berea, KY in Ken Towery’s Auto and Tire Care Sportsman, and Rodney Foltz of Florence, KY in Bob Allen Motor Mall Front Wheel Drives.

Brad Neat and Greg Johnson would lead the 10th Annual John Bradshaw Memorial to the green flag, with Neat immediately jumping to the race lead, while Johnson would battle with Michael England for second.  Neat would pull away a bit and after two early caution flags, Neat would begin the process of lapping slower traffic on lap 16, allowing Johnson to close the gap between first and second.  The front three would pull away from the rest of the field and Neat would again encounter a large group of traffic on lap 37, but would work the traffic perfectly to become the ninth different winner of this event.  Neat’s win came aboard his Red Buck Cigars/Neat’s Service Center/Begley’s General Store sponsored #41 MasterSbilt Race Car, powered by a Cornett Race Engine.  Johnson and England would finish second and third, while Dustin Linville would roll home fourth.  Michael Chilton and Dustin Neat would trade the fifth position on several occasions, with Chilton nipping Neat at the finish for fifth.  Dustin Neat would head up the second five, followed by Todd Coffman, Stephen Breeding, Jason Jameson, and Victor Lee.  Twenty-four entries would see Brad Neat be the top qualifier at 14.196 seconds, while Country 100.9 MIKE FM heat race wins went to Brad Neat, Johnson, and England.

Tommy Bailey and Michael England would battle for the lead throughout the first 10 laps of the Clayton Homes Modified feature race before Bailey would finally secure the top spot and pull away a bit in the final six circuits to score another win in the Modified division behind the wheel of the Matthew and Kenneth Jordan owned Jordan Motorsports/Mac-Trac Transportation/Micro Armor Lubricants/ Wayne Bowen Racing Supply/Lakeside Towing/Skillsaw Designs/Diamond Auto Collision sponsored #17J Lightning Chassis, Niebel Race Engines powered mount.  England would take second, while Don Adams, Elliott Despain, and Mikah Reams would complete the top five.  The remainder of the top ten would be Brent Denny, Corey Denny, A.J. Reams, Terry Edwards, and Shane McKenney.  Fifteen entries would see England be the top qualifier at 15.545 seconds, with England and Bailey taking the wins in the Smith Automotive Machine Shop heats.

Donnie Sullivan would lead the first nine laps of the Ken Towery’s Auto and Tire Care Sportsman feature before suffering a flat right front tire and turning the lead over to Bartley Grant, who would cruise to his fourth straight feature win in the division in the seat of the Tori Grant owned Cookie Monster Power Plants/Double J Cylinder Heads/Smokehouse Grill/Climax Horse Camp/B-Cool Window Tinting/The Muffler Shop/Browning Trucking/Wilburn Custom Guitars/Copper Creek Welding sponsored #1 Chevy Lumina.  Johnny King would nip Derek Bottoms for the second position, while Steve Rector and Eli Meredith completed the top five.  Eight entries would see Grant be the top qualifier at 16.977 seconds, while Sullivan won the Central Painting heat.

Rodney Foltz would lead the entire distance in picking up his second straight Bob Allen Motor Mall Front Wheel Drive feature event win in the seat of the Foltz Enterprises owned Thomas Automotive/ Battery Man/Valvoline sponsored #K80 Chevy Cavalier.  Jerry Gibson III would take runner-up honors, followed by Justin Fiedler, Adam Gregory, and Joseph Lyons.  Six entries would see Foltz also win the Airport Road Salvage Yard heat.
