Friday Night Racing is in High Gear at Paducah International Raceway
Paducah, KY- August 15, 2012- Friday Night Racing action is ready to hit the track running this Friday, August 17th with the fan-favorite Legends of PIR honoring the Dirt Track Legends that helped make Paducah International Raceway and dirt track racing what it is today. There will be a “meet and greet” under the Pavilion beginning at 5 PM. Be sure to stop by and see all your favorites. Friday will also be Caribbean Night. All fans wearing their Hawaiian shirts or other Caribbean attire will receive half-price Grandstand Admission. There will also be a Limbo contest during Intermission.
Pit Gates open at 4:00 PM. Grandstands open at 5:00 PM. Hot Laps at 6:30 PM. Qualifying at 7:00 PM, and Racing starts at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $12 for Adults. Children 12 and under are Free. Pit Admission is $25. The Pro (Crate) Late Models, Modifieds, Street Stocks, 4-Cylinder Warriors, High School Warriors, and the Kentucky Vintage will be in action.

See 2011 Race Winner Shannon Babb defend his Victory over MARS Dirt Series favorites including Tony Jackson, Jr., Justin Asplin, Leroy Johnson, current points leader Jesse Stovall, and 2011 Champion Brad Looney in side-by-side action with UMP favorites including Terry English, Randy Sellars, Tanner English, current points leader Tim Brown, and three-time Track Champion Kevin Cole.
