Lebanon MidwayFormer Factory track champion Dylan Kepper has been close several times this season in taking a win but has came up just a few feet short. That changed Saturday Night at the Midway Speedway in Lebanon as he took the lead from Aaron Gustin on lap 7 and held back point leader Tim Petty in taking the win. Aaron was subbing for his father Bob Gustin and started from the pole spot with Dale Berry to his outside. As the green dropped, Trevor Ellingson broke an axel and fell out of contention quickly. Aaron Gustin was fending off Dylan Keepper’s attempts early until lap 6 when Petty moved from the rear to second place. Dylan Keepper then made a strong move around both Petty and Gustin and would never look back. Petty would settle for second place honors followed by Aaron Gustin, Mike Murzynski and Kelly Wallander in the top 5. Points runner-up Brandon Waters slid back after moving into the top 5 on the final lap dropping him down to a 6th place finsh.

Current Modified point leader Ted Ballinger overtook leader Tony Moore on the 4th lap of the feature in making his second visit to the winners circle of the season. Moore of Lebanon started from the pole spot and was setting a fast pace early as Ballinger, brother Tim Ballinger and Michael Jones close behind. Jnes who has been running strong lately moved into the 3rd spot on the 6th lap as DeWayne Hobbs followed. Once in front Ballinger put his car on cruise control in the caution free feature event. Ballinger looking for his 1st ever track championship has been consistant all season and put some ground between him and DeWayne Hobbs. Following Ballinger to the finish was Moore with his best feature of the season, Jones, DeWayne Hobbs, and Tim Ballinger,

The Midwest Modifieds competed for some extra money tonght and to no ones surprise it was Sam Petty leading all 15 laps tonight. For a change, Petty was able to start on the front row pole after winning his heat race with rookie Billy Pearce on the outside. Petty shot to the lead with Pearce keeping pace early while Travis Hill was close with them. As the feature stayed green longer, Petty placed distance between himself and Pearce and Hill. The race for second place money was interesting as Hill tried several times to move round Pearce. Heading for the white flag, Hill made his move to take the position from Pearce. Petty took home the win followe by Hill, pearce, Chris Chever and Jamie Petty.

The Street Stocks and Pure Stocks were combined tonight. Richard Adams took the lead on lap 1 with Street Stock point leader Mark Simon in second place. On lap 2, Simon made the move to the lead as Brandon Henderson was right with Adams while Pure Stock point leader Rob White was coming. With Simon pulling away, the race for second was interesting between Adams and Henderson. The feature went caution free and heading for the white flag, Henderson  secure the runner-up spot moving around Adams. Simon crossed the line first followed by Henderson, Adams, Rob White and Adam Lowrance.

Racing continues next Saturday Night at the only dirt track oval in Lebanon with racing featuring Factory Stocks, B Modifieds, Midwest Modifieds, Street Stocks and Pure Stocks with racing at 7:30.
