In the ALPS Food Stores ULMA Late Models, it could come down to the last laps of Saturday Nights’ feature to determine a Class Champion. Currently, Jeremy Kelley of Walnut Grove, Missouri is leading the points battle. Kelley is familiar with Victory Lane and knows what it takes to get there. Jason Russell from Henley, Missouri sits behind Kelley by only 24 points. Russell is also currently the overall leader in the ULMA Points Standings. Just behind Russell, is Saturday’s Feature Winner, Tommy Cordray. Cordray from Browning, Missouri was first across the AAA Start/Finish Line twice in 2012. He is only 38 points behind the leader. Joe Walkenhorst is fourth in the standings and second in overall ULMA Standings. This weekends race will not only determine a Track Champion, but may also play a big role in the final ULMA Points.

Only one championship point separates the top two drivers in the Pitts Homes USRA Modfieds. Terry Schultz has the narrow advantage over second place, Jason Russell. Russell, is second in both the Late Model and Modified class, he will be on mark to move up on the chart at just the right time. Schultz, from Sedalia, Missouri, is also Nationally ranked in USRA Point Standings. He currently holds the fifth overall spot. Local fan favorite and Elementary Principal, Jason Pursley from Wheatland, Missouri, is third in the Weekly Racing Series Championship Points.

In the Carson’s Corner Napa Factory Stocks, Marc Carter from Warrensburg, Missouri has a small lead over second place driver, Sundance Keepper. Both racers are in contention week after week and have made for exciting on track battles all season long. Keepper from Everton, Missouri is comfortable ahead of John Coats from Joplin, Missouri. Anything is possible as the season wraps up, don’t miss it!

The addition of the DJ’s RV B-Modifieds has proven to be a great decision. Each week fans have been treated to exciting finishes and heated battles on and off the track. Kris Jackson has appeared in Victory Lane more than any other driver in the class. The driver from Lebanon, Missouri put the wraps on the Championship with last weeks win. Jeff Miller from Hermitage, Missouri is second. Miller appeared in Victory Lane this season and has solid finishes all year. Shawn Strong from Billings, Missouri is third overall and has also appeared in winner’s circle. Saturday nights finale will bring to close a great first year back at Lucas Oil Speedway for the B-Modified class.
