Lebanon MidwayLebanon,Mo. – The 2012 Racing season at the Midway Speedway will conclude this weekend with the running of the 8th Annual Coca-Cola Fall Brawl Presented by Hardee’s of Lebanon on Friday night October 12th and Saturday Night October 13th. Flagman Frank Bosley has also helped to secure Sponsorship for this event allowing for the large payout.

This 2 day format will feature qualifying heat races and pole dashes on Friday Night for Factory Stocks, B Modifieds, Pure Stocks, Midwest Modifieds and Street Stocks as drivers will draw for heat races and the top point qualifying drivers will compete in the dashes. Racing Friday night will start at 8PM.

On Saturday Night, The A Modifieds roll into the gates in a $500 to win feature event while it pays $100 to start the feature as drivers will qualify through heat races and use passing points for the line-up.

On Saturday night, the Main Events for the Factory Stocks and B Modifieds will see the winner take home $1000 each while the Midwest Modified and Street Stock winners take home $375 while the Pure Stocks battle for $300 to win. Drivers in these classes may compete only on Saturday night, but must start tailback in either the last chance event or feature and will only recieve 1/2 of the posted purse.

“The 1/2 payout for only running 1 night instead of 2 has really made our drivers fell good”, quoted owner Jack Jones. “They have expenses for both nights and realy it is more fair than to have a driver come in only 1 night and get a chance to take home the large money.”

“We have opened it up to other drivers at other tracks as several have already closed for the season. Drivers may compete by bringing their own track rules and running. If they don’t bring their track rules with them then they compete under Midway Rules.” said Jones. Factory Stocks must keep the birdcages tied together.
If a driver is planning on running 2 classes,he needs to have 2 different cars. B Modified and Midwest Modified drivers cannot compete with the A Mods, unless they don’t want to run in their own class on Saturday Night.

For Hardee’s of Lebanon it will be their first season of helping to sponsor the Fall Brawl. Hardee’s has been a season long supporter of not only local racing, but also many different Lebanon High School Sport Functions.

Friday night racing starts at 8PM with hot laps at 7:10, while Saturday Night racing starts rolling at 7:30 with hot laps at 6:40.

Grandstand Admission for Friday is only $10 for Adults while Saturday night Admission is $15 for Adults.

Pit passes will be $30 each night. No car entry fee and camping is allowed

Defending Fall Brawl Champions from 2011 are Mickey Burrell ( A Mods) of Fair Grove, Kris Jackson (B Mods) of Lebanon, Trevor Drake (Midwest Modz) of Webb City, Derek Brown (Factory Stocks) of Stoutland, Matt Darnell (Prue Stocks) of Buffalo, and Melvin Smith (Street Stocks) of Buffalo.

Weather plans-If Friday is washed out, and weather allows racing Saturday, then the entire event will be ran Saturday(except dashes) and payout will be 1/2 except for A Modifieds. If Friday is complete and weather forces cancellation on Saturday, then it will be made-up on Saturday October 20th. If the entire weekend is a wash out, then the event will be ran the following Weekend.
