(HARRISBURG, ILLINOIS) Jason Riggs and his #81jr team traveled to the Paducah International Raceway in Paducah, Kentucky on Saturday night, October 27 for the track’s Season Championship event. Jason was battling for the lead in his heat race before an untimely flat tire relegated him to a sixth place prelim finish. After rolling off from the inside of the sixth row in the $1,500 to win A-Main, Jason charged to the front and picked off seven competitors to finish fourth in the final rundown behind only winner Dwayne Keifer, Tanner English, and Nick Lyons. Complete results from the season finale at PIR can be viewed online at www.paducahracing.com.
Riggs Motorsports will now set their sights on their next event of the 2012 racing season, which will take place this Saturday evening, November 3 in the Volunteer State of Tennessee. The Clarksville Speedway in Clarksville, Tennessee will be the track of choice for Jason this Saturday, as a $2,000 top prize will be on the line in an unsanctioned Super Late Model showdown.
