HIGHLAND, IL (April 2, 2013) Come out and join us for the Easter Egg Dash on Saturday, April 6, 2013. Due to the wet conditions last week the Easter Bunny delayed his trip to Highland Speedway, but will be coming to treat the kids this week. Bring the family out for a fun night of racing action and Easter fun at Highland Speedway. We will have an Easter Egg Dash for our Junior Fan Club Members during intermission. Kids can come out and meet the Easter Bunny that night, Mom & Dad bring your cameras and get the kids pictures with the Easter Bunny. There will be early starting times due to the make up features from last week.
Racing action will feature the UMP Late Models, UMP Steve Schmitt Modifieds, UMP B-Dry Solutions SportMods, UMP Hamel Coop Street Stocks, & Daum Insurance Outlaw Micros. A huge thank you goes out to our Trophy Sponsors for Saturday night! The UMP Late Models, UMP Steve Schmitt Modified, & Daum Insurance Micro trophies have been sponosored in memory of Chris Bargetzi and the UMP B-Dry Solutions SportMods & UMP Hamel Coop Street Stocks trophies have been sponsored by K&K Race Cars. It will be an awesome night of racing action, with double features for the UMP B-Dry Solutions SportMods and UMP Hamel Coop Street Stocks as their features did not run due to time constraints and curfew.
Pits Open at 3:00 pm, Grandstands Open at 5:00 pm, Pill Draw by 5:45 pm, Drivers Meeting at 5:45 pm, Make Up Features at 6:00pm, Hot Laps and Racing starts following make up features. Box Seats are $15.00, General Grandstand Admission is $12.00, kids 10 and under are free with a paid adult admission. Pit Passes are $30.00 and pit passes for kids 10 and under are $15.00 (Kids in the pits must have parental supervision at all times.)
The Pick 3 starts Saturday, don’t forget to get your Pick 3 ticket with your paid adult grandstand admission. Guess the winner of the 3 chosen Features at Highland Speedway during the night. Turn in your guess to the grandstand gate before the dashes start. If you pick the correct 3 winners, you have a chance to win a prize. We are still working on a sponsor for the Pick 3. The prize will be determined by the sponsor. We switch up the classes every week. Cards are being provided by Tribout Carnival Supply.
