PADUCAH, KY (May 3, 2013) – Tomorrow’s Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series event scheduled at Paducah International Raceway in Paducah, KY has been canceled. With the upcoming predicted Friday Night & Saturday forecasts of heavy rain, an agreement has been reached between Paducah International Raceway and LOLMDS officials to cancel the event.
“We feel for all the great fans in the Midwest as we lost both events this weekend to rain. The weather has been difficult to say the least so far this year”, stated Series Director, Ritchie Lewis.
The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will be back in action next weekend with two shows at the Izzo family promoted LaSalle Speedway in LaSalle, IL. The weekend kicks off Friday Night May 10th with a complete show with RED BUCK Time Trials, Heat Races, B-Mains, and a 50-Lap feature event paying $10,000 to win and $800 to start. Then on Saturday Night May 11th the series returns to LaSalle Speedway for the second event of the double header at the ¼ mile bull ring with another complete show of RED BUCK Time Trials, Heat Races, B-Mains, and a 50-Lap feature, paying $10,000 to win and $800 to start.
