Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Amends Schedule, Adds Ralph Latham Memorial Date

Lucas Oil Late Model SeriesWAYCROSS, GA (June 4, 2013) – Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series officials have announced an amendment to the series schedule for the weekend of September 20 and 21st. Series officials, along with Brownstown Speedway and Florence Speedway officials have agreed to run two complete 50-lap, $10,000-to-win shows that weekend, both sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series.

The 27th Annual “Ralph Latham Memorial Race” will now be sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series at Florence Speedway in Union, KY on Friday, September 20th. This event was originally slated to take place this past Saturday, but was postponed due to heavy rains over the weekend. The Ralph Latham Memorial event will include LOLMDS Hot Laps, RED BUCK Time Trials, Heat Races, B-Mains, and the 27th Annual Ralph Latham Memorial 50-lap, $10,000-to-win feature event. Open wheel modifieds will be the support class at Florence Speedway. For more information about this event or tickets, visit www.florencespeedway.com.

The 34th Annual Jackson 100 – Presented by Byran Bowman Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep Dealership will still be a two-day show at Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, IN. Friday, September 20th, the Bowman Crates will run a 50-lap feature event for the Indiana Late Model Series. UMP Modifieds, Super Stocks, and Pure Stocks will run as support divisions on Friday as well. Then, on Saturday, September 21st, the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will run a full show with LOLMDS Hot laps, RED BUCK Time Trials, Heat Races, B-Mains, and the 50-lap, $10,000-to-win feature event. UMP Modifieds, Super Stocks, and Pure Stocks will run as support classes on Saturday. For more information about this event or tickets, visit www.brownstownspeedway.com.
