For Busch this is 31st pole in 259 NASCAR Nationwide Series races. He holds the all-time NASCAR Nationwide Series record for career poles. This is fifth pole in two races at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Sam Hornish Jr. was second posting his 16th top-10 start of the 2013 and his first in two races at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Hornish, former Indianapolis 500 winner, hopes to win his second major race at the famed race track later today in the Indiana 250, a 100 lap race which will be shown locally on ESPN at 3:30 PM, CT.
Trevor Bayne was third with his first top-10 start at the Brickyard.
