Wheatland, Missouri – July 30th, 2013 – Join the National Wildlife Turkey Federation “Race to Save the Hunt” at Lucas Oil Speedway for the Weekly Championship Racing Series on August 3rd. The NWTF is dedicated to the conservation of wild turkey and preservation of our hunting heritage. Also, it is Public Safety Appreciation Night as all Police, Fire, and Rescue Personnel are admitted FREE to the Speedway with ID.
The ALPS Food Stores Late Models, the Pitts Homes A-Modifieds, the Carson’s Corner Napa Factory Stocks, and the Tri-Lakes RV B-Mods will all be in action. The Pitts Homes A-Modifieds will be the evening’s featured class as the Top Open Wheel Modified drivers in the region hit the “Diamond of Dirt Tracks” for a special 25 Lap, $750 to win Main Event courtesy of Clearlight Inn.
Plus, fans will be treated to bonus features in the ALPS Food Stores ULMA Late Models, Pitts Homes USRA Modifieds and the Tri-Lakes RV B-Mods. These three classes night’s were cut short back on July 20th and were unable to complete their features. Gates will open an hour early as racing will get underway with Hot Laps at 6 PM and racing at 6:30 PM. The three make-up features will run first followed by a complete program in all four Lucas Oil Weekly Championship Series classes.
The NWTF will have special raffles, games and activities for guests to enjoy, so arrive early to join in the fun. Don’t forget, gates open at 4 PM. The pit area will also open an hour early at 3 PM.

The E3 Spark Plugs Monster Truck Nationals return in 2013 and the Hickory County Fair will be held at Lucas Oil Speedway for the first time in June.
