(HARRISBURG, ILLINOIS) Randy Korte and the Riggs Motorsports team found themselves back in victory lane for the sixth time in 2013 on Saturday evening, August 17 at the Federated Raceway at I-55 in Pevely, Missouri! Randy swept the night’s racing activities, as he won the heat race and the dash prior to picking up the checkers in the weekly UMP main event over James Shereck, Bobby Pierce, Tanner English, and Jason Crump. Earlier in the weekend, Randy started and finished third in a $1,200 to win weekly UMP program on Friday night, August 16 at the Tri-City Speedway in Granite City, Illinois, as he trailed only victor Bobby Pierce and runner-up Ryan Unzicker.
Jason Riggs was also in competition over the weekend, as he invaded the Highland Speedway in Highland, Illinois on Saturday for yet another weekly UMP show. Jason won his heat race in preliminary action and later moved up a couple of spots to finish sixth in the dash. After rolling off from the outside of the third row in the A-Main, Jason advanced up to fourth early in the race before slipping back to sixth at the checkers.
