Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series Championship Event October 26 at Florence Speedway

American Modified SeriesGlasgow, KY-October 17, 2013- The Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series returns to action after some time off to conclude its 2013 race campaign with the Annual Tour Championship Event on Saturday October 26 at Florence Speedway in Union, KY. The Championship event will pay $5,000 to win and $250 to start and many of the nation’s top Modified drivers are expected to vie for the win in this event that a series record 90 entries in 2012.

The Series Championship Event will take place on Saturday October 26 at Florence Speedway in Union, KY and will feature the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series in a full program of practice, A-B group time trials, qualifying heats, B-Mains, and the $5,000 to win/$250 to start Series Championship A-Main event. Joining the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series at Florence Speedway on Saturday October 26 will the track’s Super Late Model division in their annual Fall 50 event that will pay $5,000 to win.

Activities for the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series Season Championship Event at Florence Speedway will see the pit area open at 4:00 p.m., while the general admission area will open at 4:30 p.m. Practice laps will get underway at 5:00 p.m., followed immediately by time trials, with racing set to get underway at 6:30 p.m. All times are EDT. Ticket prices for this event at Florence Speedway in the general admission area will be $25 for adults, while a pit pass will be $36.
