Manhattan, Kansas (01/06/14) – Manhattan, Kansas competitor, Chase Junghans is the latest addition to the MSR Mafia team and has launched a brand new website for his team at www.ChaseJunghans.com .

The 21-year old Junghans pilots the #18 Shop Quik Racing/Capital/Jay Dickens Racing Engine Super Late Model and is preparing for his fifth year of competition in 2014.  After spending a couple of years competing in the Open Wheel Modified ranks Junghans made the transition to running Super Late Models full-time in 2013.  He finished 8th in the overall Lucas Oil Midwest Late Model Racing Association (MLRA) standings and 2nd in the tour’s Rookie of the Year battle.

Junghans tentatively plans to compete for Rookie of the Year honors with the World of Outlaws (WoO) Super Late Model tour in 2014.  He will open his season January 11th-19th at Tucson International Raceway (Tucson, Arizona) during the 2nd Annual Winter Extreme, which will see six events contested in a nine day stretch. The miniseries is being sanctioned by the National Dirt Racing League (NDRL) Super Late Models.  From Tucson the team plans to travel to El Paso Speedway Park (El Paso, Texas) on January 24th-26th for a trio of events, which will also be sanctioned by the NDRL.  For more information on the races please visit www.TheNDRL.com.
