STP World of Outlaws Sprint Car SeriesLeading Stainless Steel Mesh Security Screen and Door Manufacturer To Back
No. 15 World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Team and Driver Donny Schatz in 2014

INDIANAPOLIS (Feb. 11, 2014) – Crimsafe®, the leading manufacturer of stainless steel mesh security screen and doors in Australia, has reached a sponsorship agreement and will enter a marketing partnership with Tony Stewart Racing (TSR) and its No. 15 team of five-time World of Outlaws (WoO) STP Sprint Car Series champion Donny Schatz for the 2014 season.

Crimsafe will serve as an associate sponsor on the TSR No. 15 STP/Armor All/Crimsafe J&J that Schatz will drive in his quest to become a six-time WoO champion starting Friday in the season-opening 43rd annual DIRTcar Nationals at Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Fla. The partnership will include Crimsafe® branding on the racecar, team transporter and on Schatz’s uniform. This is the company’s first motorsports commitment in the United States, but it has a successful history of motorsports marketing in Australia.

“We’re extremely excited to become partners with Tony Stewart Racing and Donny Schatz,” said Steve Brabeck, director and co-owner of Crimsafe. “Our company realizes the value of being involved in motorsports and we’ve benefited greatly from our relationship with Dick Johnson Racing (DJR) in the V-8 Supercar series. I’ve been a fan of Sprint car racing for a long time and had the pleasure to meet Donny a few months back. He’s a class act and will be a great ambassador for Crimsafe. The World of Outlaws fans are avid and we’re thrilled to be able to use this platform to market our products. Crimsafe allows customers to feel safer and enjoy a better lifestyle. We’re delighted Donny and the TSR team will carry our brand while racing all across the United States.”

Crimsafe joins an elite list of partners on the TSR No. 15 that includes the iconic brands of STP, Armor All and Chevrolet Performance.

“This is really big for all of us at TSR,” said Schatz, who won a career-best 23 WoO A-Features in 2013. “We’ve been fortunate to work with some tremendous marketing partners since I became a driver for TSR at the end of the 2007 season. This organization enjoys cultivating relationships and working with partners in order to maximize their commitment. It’s not just a decal on the racecar or their logo on my suit. It’s all the other added things that make it all work. I had the pleasure to visit the Crimsafe headquarters in Queensland a couple weeks ago and was extremely impressed. Their primary markets here in the United States are Florida and California but, hopefully, we can help them expand all across the map. I know I can’t wait to get my house in North Dakota protected by Crimsafe products.”
Friday begins the 2014 WoO season that includes 85 nights of racing at 54 tracks in 24 states and three Canadian provinces. This will be the 18th season Schatz is competing with “The Greatest Show on Dirt”. The Fargo, N.D., resident has finished first or second in championship standings the last eight seasons.

About Crimsafe®

Crimsafe Security Systems is the industry leader in stainless steel mesh security screens and doors in Australia.

Company owners Steve Brabeck and Peter Bouma reset the bench mark in the security screen industry in 1996 when they introduced their patented woven stainless steel security screens and doors made with 304 grade high tensile 0.9mm stainless steel woven mesh and its unique Screw-Clamp™ system which locks the mesh deep into the frame. Crimsafe® security screens and doors resist impacts of up to 1200 joules of energy in a single impact and are able to withstand powerful and sustained attacks. Visually pleasing, Crimsafe security screens allow uninterrupted views and protection in a way that flyscreens and bars cannot.

Crimsafe security screens are widely used in variety of applications from homes, schools and businesses, to prisons and military facilities, and for protection against flying debris in cyclone regions throughout Australia.

In 2009 Steve and Peter expanded the business into the US where Crimsafe security screens are fast gaining popularity as the people’s choice for home security and hurricane screening.
