Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Announces Title Sponsor of ROY Program and Rookie Candidates for 2014

Lucas Oil Late Model SeriesWAYCROSS, GA (April 10, 2014) – Officials of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series are excited to announce Dunn-Benson Ford has come on board as the title sponsor of the Rookie of the Year program. In addition to their sponsorship of the ROY program, Dunn-Benson Ford will be the “Official Pace Vehicle” of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series in 2014. Carlton and Kemp Lamm, owners of the Dunn-Benson Ford dealership, have been involved in the sport for many years and have increased their partnership with the series over the past several years.

This year’s Dunn-Benson Ford Rookie of the Year program will pay $10,000 cash, plus product awards, to the top rookie driver that earns the most points over the course of the season. The Rookie of the Year runner-up will receive a $2,500 cash award at the series year-end awards banquet.

Additional cash and products awards for the Rookie of the Year program will come from Midwest Sheet Metal at each event. Chris Davis, owner of Midwest Sheet Metal (www.msmfab.com ), has agreed to post a $50 cash award and $50 product award to the highest finishing Rookie driver at each series sanctioned point event. Product sponsors of the Dunn-Benson Ford Rookie of the Year program in 2014 that will be awarding product awards at this year’s awards banquet include: Performance Bodies, Eibach Springs, Fast Shafts, Weld Wheels, AR Bodies, C&R Racing Inc., HAWK Performance, FK Rod Ends, Fuel Safe Fuel Cells, JRi Shocks and Wrisco Aluminum.

This year’s group of talented drivers includes three drivers that have officially declared to chase the Dunn-Benson Ford Rookie of the Year Title in 2014. This year’s group is only separated by a mere 95 points, among all three drivers, in what is shaping up to be a tight battle for the ROY title in 2014.
