show-me-100-2014Batesville, Arkansas (05/20/14) – Another weekend and another win for Billy Moyer Jr. and Jr. Motorsports as the team raced to their fourth victory of 2014 at Timberline Speedway (Corley, Texas) in their #21jr Crop Production Services/Mesilla Valley Transportation/ Moyer Xtreme by Longhorn/Pro Power Racing Engine Super Late Model.

The doubleheader weekend of COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) presented by Lucas Oil action opened on Friday night at the Texas speed plant. Heat race issues left Billy starting fourteenth on the grid for the feature, but he would mount a great charge to a fourth place finish behind race winner, Kyle Beard, Patrik Daniel, and Jon Mitchell. He received the Larry Shaw Race Cars Hard Charger Award for his efforts.

Billy bounced back in a big way on Saturday night in the $2,000-to-win event. Via preliminary action he started fifth on the grid for the 30 lap finale. He quickly worked his way into the second spot in the event as he set his sights on leader, Ray Moore. Moyer Jr. capitalized in lap traffic on lap 17 as he used the low line to shoot past Moore into the top spot. Billy went on to lead the final fourteen laps for his fourth victory of 2014. He was followed across the finish line by Kyle Beard, Ray Moore, Clay Fisher, and Anthony Burroughs.

“We had a really good hot rod all weekend, and the track staff did a great job with the track surface both nights,” said Moyer Jr. “Hopefully we can carry our momentum into this weekend at the Show Me 100.”

Full results from the event are available at www.COMPDirt.com.

A busy Memorial Day weekend awaits Billy. He will open action with the $5,000-to-win, inaugural Cowboy Classic at Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Missouri) on Thursday night. On Friday and Saturday he will take part in the 22nd Annual Show Me 100, at the state-of-the-art facility. The $30,000-to-win, Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) will be held on Friday and Saturday. The team’s weekend will draw to a close on Sunday night with a $10,000-to-win, UMP Late Model event at Tri City Speedway (Pontoon Beach, Illinois).
