CALVERT CITY, Ky. – Kentucky Lake Motor Speedway’s three special events on June 14, 21 and 28 will offer extra prize money for drivers, with regular admission prices for spectators.
Grandstand admission will remain at $15 for all three events, with the senior citizen and military discount ($12) and free admission to children 10 and under.
The July 14 and 28 programs will showcase the Modified and Pro (Crate) Late Model classes, with 35-lap features paying $3,000 to the winner and a minimum payoff of $200 to every driver who makes the 30-car feature starting lineup.
On July 21, the Late Models will run for the same prize money and the Stock Cars will race for $1,500 to win and $125 to start. The Late Model feature is scheduled for 40 laps and the Stock Cars will run 30.
Each night will feature a full program of racing, with the regular weekly payoff for the classes not being highlighted. Late Models run for $1,000 to win, Modifieds $700, Crate Late Models $600 and Stock Cars $500 in first-place prize money on regular weekly race nights.
Pit admission for the June 14-21-28 programs will be $35 for individuals and $50 for driver and car.
KLMS will present its regular weekly program this Saturday night, May 31, and next week, June 7. The track is located at Exit 27 of Interstates 24 and 69 near Calvert City, Ky.
