Lucas Oil Late Model Series(CARPENTERSVILLE, ILLINOIS) Dennis Erb Racing traveled through the states of Tennessee, Kentucky, Missouri, and Illinois with the UMP DIRTcar Summer Nationals tour from June 25-29. With Mother Nature taking the win on Friday evening at Paducah International Raceway in Paducah, Kentucky, Dennis Erb, Jr. officially put four races into the record book. In those four events, Dennis finished inside of the top ten on each occasion, while knocking down a pair of top five performances.

His best efforts came on Wednesday at Clarksville Speedway in Clarksville, Tennessee and on Sunday at Lincoln Speedway in Lincoln, Illinois. Dennis won his heat race at Clarksville prior to finishing third in the final rundown of the $5,000 to win feature behind only victor Shannon Babb and runner-up Ryan Unzicker. At Lincoln on Sunday, the Carpentersville, Illinois star ran second in his heat race – behind the wheel of his new Barry Wright racecar – and later notched a solid fourth place finish in the 40-lap main event behind only $5,000 winner Brady Smith, Brian Birkhofer, and Brian Shirley.
