8th Annual CMH Diamond Nationals this Saturday, July 12th!

Lucas Oil SpeedwayWHEATLAND, MO (July 7th, 2014) – The 8th Annual CMH Diamond Nationals featuring the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series rolls into Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri this Saturday, July 12th for their second and final appearance this season. “This is certainly one of the most anticipated events of the season here in Wheatland.” commented Lucas Oil Speedway General Manager Dan Robinson. “It features the best late model drivers in the country here for one day, 50 laps, and a hefty payday of $10,000 to the winner along with a beautiful Diamond Ring to commemorate the win.”

John Blankenship held off a hard charging Jimmy Owens to take home the check and the ring in the 2013 edition of this huge event.

Other top drivers expected to be in attendance include Don O’Neal, Scott Bloomquist, Jared Landers, Eddie Carrier Jr., Earl Pearson Jr., Steve Francis, Jason Hughes, Chad Simpson, Terry Phillips, Travis Dickes, Ryan Gustin, and many more of the top dirt late model drivers in the country!

The stars and cars of the Lucas Oil MLRA will also be on hand to challenge the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series drivers in the co-sanctioned event. The Pitts Homes USRA Modifieds run in support of the Late Models and will be in action gunning for a top prize of $750 to win courtesy of Clearlight Inn.

Bring the entire family out on Saturday as we invite you to come early and visit the pit area to meet your favorite drivers. Party Station Kids Zone and the Frog’s Sign Jr. Fan Club will have tons of inflatables, games and give-a-ways for the Jr. race fans in your family.

The Family Pass is designed to help families find a great entertainment value at an affordable price. To qualify for the pass there must be at least two adults and one child present at the time of purchase. Maximum number of children under the age of 16 to be covered per pass is 3.
