kentucky-lake-motor-speedwayBatesville, Arkansas (07/07/14) – Billy Moyer Jr. remained perfect on the season at Kentucky Lake Motor Speedway (Calvert City, Kentucky) on Saturday night as he topped the $3,000-to-win affair for his third win in three events in 2014 at the 3/8 mile oval in his #21jr Crop Production Services/Mesilla Valley Transportation/ Moyer Xtreme by Longhorn/Pro Power Racing Engine Super Late Model.

Billy started his night by winning his heat race to earn a front row starting spot for the 35 lap finale with Tanner English starting alongside. Moyer Jr. assumed the lead at the drop of the green flag and went on to lead every circuit on his way to winning by over four seconds with Terry English, Kevin Cole, Tanner English, and Jarryd Holshouser rounding out the top five. The victory marked his sixth triumph of the 2014 campaign.

“I wish we could run here every week,” laughed Moyer Jr. “This place has always been good to us, and it gives us added confidence as we head into some big money shows the next few weeks.”

Earlier in the week Billy took part in four UMP Summernationals events and came away with a trio of top ten finishes to show for his efforts with a sixth place finish at Belle Clair Speedway (Belleville, Illinois) on Tuesday, a third place finish at Jacksonville Speedway (Jacksonville, Illinois) on Wednesday, and an eighth place finish at La Salle Speedway (La Salle, Illinois) on Thursday.
