Three nights of Lucas Cattle Company ULMA Late Model action took place last weekend with three separate winners claiming victories at Randolph County Raceway, Central Missouri Speedway, and Double-X Speedway.

ULMA racing actually began on Friday at Callaway Raceway in Fulton, Missouri; however, a multi-car crash brought the late model feature to a grinding halt just after the green flag fell on the field. Due to the damage to the turn one fencing from the incident, the night’s events were postponed for the evening. Double feature events are scheduled for Friday at Callaway Raceway with the postponed feature and then a regular night of competition scheduled for the night. For more information visit at www.callawayraceways.com or call 573-592-7795 or 573-642-6580 for details. Gates open at 5:00 | Hot Laps 7:00 | Race Begins at 7:30.

At Central Missouri Speedway in Warrensburg, Missouri, Dwight Niehoff led the field to the green flag for competition. Niehoff commanded the race in front of a fierce battle for second between Jon Binning and Payton Looney with Steve Clancy and Lane Ehlert inside the top five. Deep into the race, Niehoff led Looney and Binning in a torrid battle for second with Binning moving to the high side to take second over Looney. Niehoff ultimately captured the victory. Binning made a late-race pass for the runner-up position in front of Looney, Gage Wineland, Steve Clancy, and Chris Cox rounded out the top six. ULMA Late Models have two appearances at CMS remaining this season; visit the track’s website at www.centralmissourispeedway.net.

At Randolph County Raceway in Moberly, Missouri, eleven cars signed in for competition and it was Winfield, Missouri’s Kenny Mudd who scored his first ULMA victory of the year over David Melloway, Terry Gallaher, Ryan Petersheim, and Brandon Lennox. Racing at RCR continues this Saturday, for track information, visit www.randolphcountyraceway.com or call the track Phone at 660-833-1727. Drivers needing tires prior to the weekend of competition are urged to contact Danny Lorton at 660-651-3646.

In one of the most exciting battles of the year for a win, 16-year race veteran Todd McCoin of Barnett, Missouri scored the victory at Double-X Speedway in the track’s Race for Riley special-event race night. McCoin, who nearly grabbed a win at the California, Missouri speed plant a year ago, stalked race-long leader Justin Russell for 16 laps before Russell bobbled in turn four allowing McCoin to grab the point and sail on to victory. Behind McCoin at the front were Jon Binning, Russell, Jake Williams, Tommy Cordray, and Greg Clemons.

Mike Garcia, Micheal Paul Motorsports, Leeper Auto Repair, and Bad Apple Collision contributed extra funds to the late model purse at Double-X Speedway, making the win worth $750 to McCoin for his efforts. ULMA wishes to thank these great sponsors as well as Kyle and Carol Wirts for hosting late model racing this year at Double-X Speedway.

ULMA racing returns to Lucas Oil Speedway this weekend for championship racing. The track’s ALPS Food Stores ULMA Late Models will be the featured class of the evening running a special 25-Lap, $1,000 to win Main Event! Visit www.lucasoilspeedway.com for information or call the track hotline at (417) 282-5984.
