Last Weekends Rain Makes for a Huge Show This Saturday Night

Mother Nature won the battle at the Lebanon I-44 Speedway Saturday Night as constant hard driving rain fell upon the Speedway with 10 minutes left in practice and continued off and on all night long. This Saturday August 23rd night we will now run the Wheels for Warriors Twin 25’s for the O’Reilly Auto Parts Pro Late Models along with the special 30 lap event for the Keyser Manufacturing Road Warriors and a full show for the Budweiser Modifieds, Monster Energy Sportsman and Coca-Cola Chargers.
The Scheduled 50 lapper was to feature the return of 2 past Late Model Champions as 2013 NASCAR Missouri State and Lebanon I-44 Speedway Track Champion Cole Williams of Sellersburg, Indiana and 1999 NASCAR Lebanon I-44 Speedway Track Champion Kenny Dickinson of Camdenton were both in the pits with 16 Late Models checked-in for the action. The top 10 in practice were only separated by .279 seconds as JC Newell was fastest on the charts with a practice time of 15.003 while current point leader Kaleb Allison of Mexico, Mo. was only .021 seconds behind and Dickinson was 10th quick in the practice sessions on his first night back at the track in 2014.
Saturday Night will be Emerson Climate Technologies Night at the Races as one of Lebanon’s largest employers and number 1 Scroll Compressor maker in the world will be the title sponsor.
Race gates open at 5pm with heat races to begin at 7pm and racing action to follow in all classes. Adult admission is only $10 in the Budweiser Party Deck and the Monster Energy Grandstand with kids 10-15 only $4 and additional discounts offered to seniors and Military while kids 10 and under are FREE. Budweiser “Wildside” Tier Parking is only $15 for Adults with a special 6-pack special offered 6 Adults for $75 in the same vehicle. Discounts are also offered in Tier for the Biggest Tail-Gate Party in Lebanon.
